Nichcole Sizemore serves as Chair of the Board and provides valuable insight into the unique experiences and challenges faced by military families. She was named the 2019 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year® for USAG Daegu, Army, an honor recognizing her leadership and impact within the military spouse community.
Through her connection to the military community, she helps strengthen outreach efforts, provides strategic leadership for the organization, and builds relationships that support service members, veterans, military spouses, and caregivers.
EUGENIA “GENA” ANDREWS
Founder
Eugenia Andrews founded Half Moon Harbor Foundation with a vision of creating a place of rest, healing, and connection for caregivers, military families, veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others who spend their lives caring for others. Drawing from her experiences as a military spouse, caregiver, healthcare professional, and community advocate, she is passionate about building programs that support resilience, wellness, and long-term restoration for those who serve their families and communities every day.

Misty Hutto serves as Secretary. Drawing on her experience in the corporate sector, she works to strengthen relationships with businesses, community partners, and potential sponsors that share the foundation’s commitment to supporting caregivers and those who serve others.
Rebecca Sexton
Treasurer
Board Member- Irmo
Rebecca Sexton serves as Treasurer for Half Moon Harbor Foundation and brings professional accounting experience to the organization. She assists with financial oversight, organizational records, and administrative support while helping ensure the foundation is built on a strong and sustainable financial foundation
